The CJK Story
CJK Services' CEO and founder Bruce Heuer began his career in the forklift industry in 1973. Over the years, Mr. Heuer garnered a broad and in-depth knowledge of the optimal utilization and maintenance of forklift fleets. Over the course of his career, he often found himself in the role of referee as service issues had the potential to jeopardize the relationship between his client and service department.
In 1990, Mr. Heuer was introduced to companies who performed 'economic analysis'. Having spent years combating the issue of forklift replacement, the idea of providing information that would assist the client with economic fleet operation and justification for replacement was very appealing. As he began developing the model for CJK Services, he sought out individuals with decades of industry experience, both servicing and managing forklift fleet operations. If CJK Services was going to succeed, Mr. Heuer understood the model must:
• Understand clients are in the forklift business by default, not by choice.
• Intervene with the service provider on behalf of the client to mandate service excellence; service excellence will produce significant savings.
• Empower the client with the knowledge in a format that allows them to maximize the forklift fleet at the lowest possible cost.
CJK Services' growth has been based on proven and quantifiable results
for our clients that range in fleet size from one forklift to several
thousand. Currently, CJK provides its services throughout North America
and has not altered its commitment to individual customer satisfaction.
